dude that picture came out better than I thought...I forgot you used B&W film

good contrast but the background is a bit over exposed unless you were going for that look. The sun was a killer that day too.

well when i took the shot i used a large appeture setting for you would have high detail. but when you do this, to get high detail on your main object, your background can be washed out or just a tad over exposed. its a give and take kind of situation, detail VS lighting. since you were the main object of the shot, i chose detail!

uh huh you could have gone with a different aperture as to get the background too because in my mind the main focus is the graveyeard we shall have to try that again I think if you blur the person a bit you may get something unsuspecting in the graveyard itself

but i guess it is your choice your camera. we will do a different place next time found some great graveyards :)

i did get the background in good detail. just the bright sunlight on the white gravestone is kind of hard to not over expose, when trying to take a portrait of some one close to your camare angle. if i chose to set the aperture to help the background you would have been in less detail, like you said above. but i wanted to take a glamour shot so i focused on you. i still think the whole shot came out great!

sounds like fun, hopefully the yards are not to far to drive.
